terms

Plain terms for a free newsletter. Joining the list means you're fine with what's below.
what this is
The Dealery is an email newsletter of curated product deals, sent three times a week, alongside breakdowns of what things actually cost to make and whether a discount is real. It is free to join and stays free. There is no paid tier waiting behind it.
what I'm not
I'm not the seller. I negotiate with suppliers and point you at where to buy, but the contract for anything you purchase is between you and that retailer or brand. Their returns policy, their warranty, their delivery times, their problem to fix — and mine to chase on your behalf if it goes badly enough that it reflects on the list.
deals, prices and availability
Prices and stock move. A deal that was live when the email went out can be gone by the time you open it. I check everything before it goes in, but I can't hold stock or guarantee a price will still be there.
Markup breakdowns are my honest estimate based on years of wholesale pricing, supplier conversations, and knowing what categories cost to produce. They're informed, not audited accounts. Treat them as a well-sourced opinion.
how I make money
Some links may earn a commission from the retailer. That never decides what goes in. A deal earns its place by being worth buying, and a commission never makes a bad deal acceptable. Where a link is commissioned, it's marked as such in the email.
founding members
The first 1,000 people to join are marked as founding members. That means early access to every drop, permanently, and first call on anything members-only I build later. It costs nothing and there is nothing to renew. It's a thank-you, not a product.
your account on the list
Sign up with your own email address and accurate details — a wrong country just means you'll get deals you can't buy. Don't sign other people up. Don't scrape, resell, or republish the newsletter's contents in bulk; forwarding an issue to a friend is exactly what it's for.
I can remove someone from the list if they abuse it. You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by deleting your data.
the writing
The words, breakdowns and branding are mine. Quote a line with credit and a link, by all means. Republishing whole issues isn't on.
liability
The newsletter is provided as-is. I take care over what goes in it, but I can't be liable for a purchase you made, a price that changed, or a retailer that let you down. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
privacy
What I collect and how you get rid of it is set out in the privacy policy.
changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Carrying on reading the newsletter after that means you're fine with the update. Questions go to hello@thedealery.com.
